How Verelume handles information across our website and platform.
Last updated: July 18, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Verelume (“Verelume,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our website and our Organizational Intelligence Platform (together, the “Services”). It is intended to be read alongside our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. When you apply for a Founding Pilot or contact us, we collect the details you submit — such as your name, work email, company, role, and a description of the problem you want to solve.
- Customer records.Within the platform, an organization connects records it approves. Those records belong to the organization; we process them on the organization’s behalf to provide the Services.
- Usage information. We may collect limited, privacy-conscious analytics about website usage (such as pages visited) to understand what is helpful. We aim to collect no more than we need and do not use advertising trackers.
How we use information
- To evaluate and respond to Founding Pilot applications and inquiries.
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
- To communicate with you about the Services.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf to run the Services, under agreements that limit their use of it. These currently include our hosting provider, our database and storage provider, and, where enabled, a notification service and a privacy-conscious analytics provider. These providers process information only to provide services to us.
How we protect information
We describe our security practices on the Security page, including organization-level data separation, private storage, authenticated access, and encryption in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect information using reasonable safeguards.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes — for example, to respond to your inquiry, administer a pilot, or meet recordkeeping obligations — and then delete or anonymize it. Customer records connected to the platform are retained per the organization’s instructions and our agreement with it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information about you, and to object to certain processing. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California, among others, may have specific rights under applicable law. To make a request, contact us at hello@verelume.ai; we will respond consistent with applicable law. You can also unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses only what is necessary to function and, where enabled, a cookieless or privacy-conscious analytics measure to understand aggregate usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for organizations and their professional users and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be made clear on this page.
